Marieke Guy

My name is Marieke Guy and I began writing this blog when working for UKOLN (A centre of excellence in digital information management, providing advice and services to the library, information and cultural heritage communities) based at the University of Bath. I started working from home in April 2008 and became the Remote Workers Champion at UKOLN.

I stopped working for UKOLN and the University of Bath on 31st July 2013. You can read about where I am working now on http://www.mariekeguy.co.uk/. I continue to be into openness, education, open education, digital preservation, metadata, social networking, community building, information management, learning technology and lots more. Details of my presentations and papers are available from my Web site.

Using this blog I want to find ways that those of us who don’t get into an office (for one reason or another) can be as well supported as on-site staff.

If you want to contact me you can catch me on Twitter (mariekeguy).
