JISC Innovating e-Learning 2010 Online Conference

Online Conferences are a little like buses….

The latest one I’ve come across is the forthcoming Innovating e-Learning 2010 Online Conference to take place between 23 – 26 November 2010.

The conference Programme is now online and looks very interesting. It is likely to be delivered in Elluminate.

Other activities include the have-a-go area. This is a space for JISC services and projects to publicise the practical aspects of their work, so that delegates have an opportunity to explore and try out for themselves innovative learning environments and resources. The focus will be on hands-on opportunities rather than on provision of papers and presentations. There is also a Virtual worlds tours and inductions and James Clay, ILT & Learning Resources Manager at Gloucestershire College, is the conference blogger. He gives his thoughts on issues relating to sense of community, value for money and environment.

There are also some useful FAQs which include some great embedded videos from James Clay on the benefits of Online Conferences.

There is a £50 cost for delegates.
